Learning to See Without the Eyes
You can learn to perceive colours, shapes and objects with your eyes covered. This is how the training works and what you need to get started.
What "seeing without the eyes" means
Alternative Vision, also called non-ocular or blindfold vision, describes the ability to perceive visual information while the eyes are fully covered. MatrixVision® treats it as a trainable perceptual skill that develops through structured, regular practice.
How the training is structured
- Preparation: relaxation, breathing and focus create the calm, alert state in which perception can develop.
- First impressions: simple exercises with light, colour and contrast help you notice the first perceptual signals.
- Shapes and objects: step by step you learn to recognise forms, positions and objects.
- Stabilisation: daily practice turns occasional successes into a reliable skill.
- Verification: clear test protocols ensure that results are honest and reproducible.
What helps you progress
- Short, regular practice sessions, ideally every day
- A light-tight blindfold and the right training materials
- Patience with yourself: some learners make progress within days, others need weeks or months
- Working with inner doubts and expectations, supported by the REPRO® Method
