Seeing Without the Eyes
Reading a card, recognising a colour or finding an object with the eyes fully covered: this is what "seeing without the eyes" describes. Here is what it means and how it is learned.
What it means
Seeing without the eyes, also called Alternative Vision, non-ocular vision or blindfold vision, is the ability to perceive visual information while the eyes are completely covered. Participants describe inner impressions of light, colour, shape and position that become clearer with practice.
How it is trained
- Calm focus: relaxation and breathing create an alert, quiet state of mind.
- First signals: simple exercises with light and colour help you notice subtle impressions.
- Shapes and objects: step by step, impressions become forms, positions and recognisable objects.
- Stability: daily practice makes the skill reliable.
How results are checked
MatrixVision® uses light-tight blindfolds and clear test protocols. Results count when they can be reproduced under controlled conditions. This honesty is essential for your own progress and for the credibility of the method.
Who can learn it
Children often learn quickly; adults usually need more practice, mainly because of fixed expectations and self-doubt. Progress varies: some participants see first results within days, others within weeks or months.
